FPG COMMUNITY UPDATE

A lot has happened since our last update, and we wanted to bring everyone up to speed.

📝 PLANNING APPLICATION SUBMITTED

Application Reference: 26/01628/OUTM
Outline Planning Application

The application is extensive, with some sections exceeding 100 pages. While we appreciate that not everyone will have time to read the entire document, we encourage residents to look at a section that interests them, such as:

🚗 Traffic Assessment
🌱 Agriculture Assessment
🌧️ Flood Risk Assessment

Residents reviewing individual sections have already identified important issues that could affect our village.

One concern highlighted so far is the apparent absence of an assessment of the health needs of our village, as well as an assessment of the risks associated with the road through which people would access the development.

🗣️ HAVE YOUR SAY

Whether you wish to object, support the application or make suggestions, it is important that your views are formally recorded.

Please submit comments through the official planning portal using:

Following discussions with Newark and Sherwood District Council, the consultation period has been extended.

New consultation deadline: 25 November 2026

The Council has indicated it will also accept comments after this date due to planned server maintenance affecting the portal during the consultation period.

🤝 HELP US REACH THE WHOLE VILLAGE

Please share this update with neighbours who may not use Facebook or access our website.

We are also looking for volunteers who can spare some time during the week to help deliver flyers to households in Farnsfield and Edingley around the village.

🙏 THANK YOU

Thank you to everyone who has already given their time, support and commitment. The work residents are doing to review and submit comments to the application is already proving incredibly valuable.

✅ Read a section if you can
✅ Share your findings
✅ Submit your comments
✅ Attend the public meeting on 12 November
✅ Help us reach neighbours who aren’t online.

Together, we can make sure we fully represent the impact of this on the infrastructure of our villageost content
